Our Faris Ashraff

Assalamualaikum,

Hello everyone -be it students, families and friends. It's been few months i didnt blog here.

My little faris - he's now 1 year 1 month old. To describe Faris at this age, he is now able to munch a lot , munching words as well as food. Yes it is, he is now like could not stand if he sees us chewing or eating without him to have it too.

Poor faris just have to tell you it isnt everything you can munch baby.

We celebrated his birthday party @ A&W PJ. Dreamt to have it for myself, but at least by piggybacking faris' could give me the feel of having it even it wasnt mine. We invited closest relatives nearby, not to forget faris' counterpart a.k.a. batchmate lil Harris & family. It took one and half of the time to celebrate faris' inaugural there, thank you so much to everyone for the nice, lavish toygifts. Just couldnt believe Papafaris also got a mystical misterious gift too - a casual long-sleeve shirt. Too good not to accept it coz this is the kind papa has been looking for; striping-striking coloured office wear. We are still unable to trace who was the sender.OoOOo..

We will be off to Beijing this Sunday, being first timers of three of us going to Great Wall and other places.

Sharing birthday wif Auntie Nana, yesterday was our day.Alhamdulillah syukur to Allah who has given us good health at this age.We are still in the raya mood, where Faris is now busy collecting his duit raya for the first time in history. The most enjoyful persons are of course us, his parents. We know collecting for ourselves is fun, but you'll find it more when you collect it for your child. I'm now experiencing it, and its really cool.

The money collected will then be saved in Faris's Unit Trust Account, as we initiated for him one for his future use. You guys shall do the same, as this will surely complementing your existing bank account and for those who are working, your epf.

2.Nasi Kerabu - cari brader jual nasi lemak ayam rempah slalu depan Shell, die nye nasi kerabu sedap seryes x tipu
3. Pecal - Hidangan wajib atokfaris setiap hari
4. Siput Sedut masak lemak - ni gerai owned by Restaurant Selera Selatan Sek20, so dah biase mesti tau

Seksyen 20 (dekat SMC)
1. Sotong Kangkung - hanya satu gerai je jual, so senang cari, mee udang die pn harus cuba
2. Murtabak - xla sedap sgt sgt, tp best dr yg lain

Nak cite seksyen2 lain nye lom sempat pg lg, esp stadium, nnt insyaAllah nak la pegi..ayam golek die popular...

Crawling & Crying Faris

Lame x blog ni..

Faris is now coming to his 6 months old...his crawling now has reached one step higher; crawling with an unintention cry...huuhuhu...at first we didnt catch what does he mean by that sound, but now we know how to differentiate between a cry for feeding and cry for pampering.

eheheh biasala anak papa sorang ni..now he started to recognise who's around..esp his mom...sometimes bile org laen dukung and suddenly mama die lalu..die nak mama die...papa die pon dah x laku dah mase tu eheheh...that's a wonderful color of him..love him so much...

He started to eat solid food 2 weeks prior his 6th month birthday. We could see he ate his first solid food as if he's been eating eat before. No slack, except some usual baby's clumsy spills...well, if everything goes well, we'll feed him in a larger amount time to time as not to frustrate his digestive system esp in this early introductory stage..

As for now..lets go dumex boy..!!

Untuk pelaburan, sekali lagi perlu diingatkan, walaupun kadar pulangan boleh dijangka. Namun, ia tidak memberi sebarang jaminan bahawa nilai pulangan yang diperolehi pada tahun berikutnya adalah sama, atau lebih tinggi atau pun lebih rendah berbanding dari tahun sebelumnya. Ianya bergantung kepada harga pasaran semasa.

Sebagai seorang pelabur seseorang itu harus menyedari sepenuhnya mengenai risiko yang terbabit. Seperti di dalam unit amanah, terdapat beberapa dana-dana yang ditawarkan. Pelabur harus bijak memilih dana-dana mengikut kesesuaian,objektif pelaburan dan profil risiko. Ini termasuklah simpanan tetap (fixed deposit), insurans, bon-bon, pelaburan hartanah, dan syir (share). Pelabur boleh mempelbagaikan pelaburan mereka seperti bon, hartanah dan syir untuk meluaskan lagi perolehan tetapi semakin tinggi pulangan yang diingini oleh seseorang pelabur maka semakin tinggi jugalah risiko yang perlu ditanggung.

Seseorang pelabur hendaklah mempunyai pengetahuan yang cukup di dalam bidang pelaburan dan mengetahui risiko yang bakal dihadapi.

Masih ramai x tau kewujudan unit amanah (unit trust) ni kat Msia, selain ASB dan produk2 lain dlm PNB. Tahukah anda bahawa anda juga bole membeli/melabur unit amanah di company2 commercial yang lain, dan ada antara mereka yg menawarkan pulangkan sehingga 7-8 fold drp apa yg anda dpt dalam ASB.

Theoritically, ini adalah beberapa benefits am (including ASB) investing in unit trust:

Affordability
Unit trusts are very affordable. Investors can start with an investment amount as low as RM100.

Diversification
Rather than concentrating an investment portfolio of one or two investments or shares, a portfolio of market securities can be held. The wider the spread of investments, the less volatile (i.e. variable) the investment returns will be. In simple terms, investment into unit trusts means diversification of risk: "not putting all your eggs in one basket."

Liquidity
Most investors prefer that their investment to be liquid. That is, they can easily buy and sell withour difficulties. Unit trusts provide this benefit, easily bought and sold. An excellent return that cannot be "cashed-in" (i.e. sold) does not necessarily mean a good investment as poor liquidity constitutes an additional risk factor for the investor.

What are Unit Trusts ?

Unit trusts allow investors to have easy access to a wide range of investment exposures not normally available to them.
As investors seek to maximise returns on their financial resources, unit trusts provide an ideal way for them to gain exposure to investments that, in the long run, should produce returns superior to cash savings and fixed deposit investments.

The cost of these potentially higher returns is of course the risk that accompanies the investment. In the short run, the certainty of investment returns of most unit trust products is less than those offered by fixed deposits. However, in the medium to long term (i.e. 3-20 years), unit trust investments generally provide superior returns at acceptable levels of risk.

Faris got new friends!

Alhamdulillah, dalam mase beberapa hari ni je Faris dah dpt kawan baru:

1. Baby Meor Dzulfareez (name kite same!) - anak uncle Ajon n Auntie Lynn.Selamat dilahirkan pada Sabtu 16 June 2007 4.13pm @ SJMC.Congrats to them, and papa says welcome to the club Uncle Ajon, selamat berjaga malam la ko eheheh..

2. Baby Aqeef@Aqif (nama masih lagi belum finalise) - anak Auntie Syiqin n Uncle GG and ofkos adik kepada kakak tisya tersayang.Selamat dilahirkan pada petang Isnin 18 June 2007 @ Pusat Perubatan Annur Bangi. Hospital tu dah baru, papa ckp kt mama maybe adik Faris (cewah dah berangan padahal lama lagi insyaAllah), leh aa deliver kat Annur, much better dr tmpt lahir faris aritu (nama terpaksa dirahsiakan walaupon sume org dh tau uhuhuh)

Wahh..sronoknye..ni x lama lagi Uncle Epi & Auntie Azilah nye turn lak...tadi papa call die , die ckp Auntie dah start sakit2....tak lame lagi dah tu..stenbai sumee....papa, mama n faris doakan segalanya selamat...amin...

Father's Day for the first time

Kelmarin Yai (panggilan Nenek Maria oleh Faris) ade crite Faris seharian spend mase berlatih berpusing ala ala nak merangkak...Kesungguhan die sampai Yai nak tolong die akan marah...kitorg pn senyum je la...sambil terbayang2 mcm mane la anak papa ni mase pusing2 tu...

Pastu pagi Subuh smalam, lepas je kasik susu, Faris amik port and disaksikan oleh mama papa, eheheh dengan machonya menterbalikkan diri + struggle, just nak btau mamapapa yg die dah at least bole pusingkan badan...tp faris ikut mood die je la,kalo die rase die nak pusing die pusing ...eheheh so nak tgk die pusing lagi, tgk mood die..kene la ok...susu kene on time...ye papa...

minggu depan nak masuk 4 bulan dah..kejap je dah nak 1/3 tahun umur faris...and maybe dlm bulan ni Faris akan dpt InsyaAllah dua geng baru...anak Maklong Syiqin (expected baby boy), as well as anak uncle Epi (pn baby boy), so leh aa tiga2 bergabung jadi trio masuk AF25 nnt...

smalam was a night to remember...we watched faris learn to crawl for the first time.This was another milestone for him, as he turned 3 months last week.The camera of course been my first thing to grab, capturing his first moment crawling, apart of his discoveries. While mama watching him with extra caution, he managed at least to turn his body out of his baby comforter.

Invigilator - things you have been doing - aktiviti seorang penjaga exam

Mase paling sesuai utk berangan adalah sewaktu menjaga exam (invigilator). Dalam masa sama menjaga exam adalah waktu paling membosankan, esp jaga exam 3 jam (paper subject mane la tu huh...)...Banyak perkara yg sebenarnya boleh dibuat.....:.....:)....

1.Menunggu siapa student yg mintak off aircond dulu...
- request sebegini mmg xkan dilayan kalo exam kat MPH
- student ni sejuk maybe seram sejuk tgk soklan nightmare
- belum bersedia utk dihantar ke luar negara yang semestinya "aircond" tokleh diswitch offkan

2.Mengira nisbah pelajar lelaki and pelajar pompuan, pastu tgk nama lecturer subject tu
- kalo pompuan ramai, maknenye lecturer tu mesti laki

3.Mengimbau masa sendiri amik xm dulu
- agaknye muke berkerut/blur aku dulu diperhatikan jelas oleh invig..patutle diorg senyum2 je
dulu..siot je..

4.Berjalan mengelilingi meja semua student sambil buat muka strict
- sure diorang tension ahahaha...

5.Menjenguk jam bbrape kali (selang 5 min)
- bukan student je yg tgk jam tgk mase tinggal bape, kitorang pon, sbb 2 jam bagiku bg dua hari
lamanye owhh...lom 3 jam lg..
- kalo ade stopwatch, leh set, pastu leh nampak jam tu mcm laju je bjalan, padahal same
je..saikologi beb
- memastikan jam dinding tu x mati, so xyah kitorang tunggu lebih lama dr yg spatutnye..owh
tidak..!!

6.Membaca kertas soklan student and pastu test power buat (engine paper haram satu ape x
paham..)

7.Paling best, tgk gelagat student mcm2 style
- senyum sorang sambil ckp YES (budget soklan tips masuk bulat2)
- mecarut tetiba - (tatau mencarut kegembiraan sbb soklan senang or sebaliknya), serius gue
pon terkejut...slambe die je..
- menggaru kepala yg x gatal <---ni stendet kat mane2 exam pon ade nih..
- yang ayu ilang keayuan kejap bile buat muke stress, bengang dsb...

8.Mengira brape org tangn kiri (left-handed) mcm aku, pastu tgk die ensem/lawa ke x, kalo ye,
mulala bangga syok sendiri yg pastinya menghilangkan ngantuk..

9.Tgk student yg amik paper non-calculation tp bwk calculator
- tatau maybe nak congak agak2 brape yg perlu score utk pass/dpt A

10.Membuat andaian pelajar2 yang berkerut nih maybe menyesal sbb tak amik MC pagi td utk
amek supp sbb final susah gile (supp lg susah ooiii)

11.Tau nama student2 cun/comel melalui attendance sheet & no meja diorang (hanya bagi chief invig saje ok)

12.Usha invigilator lain ape lak dieorg buat, adekah mcm aku or lg kreatif dieorg nih...ahahahah

13.Makan gula2 exam unit kasik, air mineral simpan buat stok kat ofis

Exam Week

Salam Semua,

Papa smp awal kt ofis arini, ade kene jadi standby invigilator.Pagi td kol 5 faris dah bangun crying for feeding.Hero papa ni mmg kuat minum, bagusla cepat besar , almost evry 2-3 jam die akan bangun n nak minum...x byk ragam Alhamdulillah..nangis pon sbb nak minum, or pampers dah penuh je.Yang lain tu kekadang die nak manje2...biase la tu...

Perkembangan Faris....selain badan yang semakin sihat...(aritu check dah 5kg...)..Faris dh pnd senyum bile diagah...and x agah pon slalu gak senyum syok sendiri...eheheh..and we realized skarang ni die dah pandai nakkan perhatian drp parents die...lepas je die minum susu..or maybe waktu die tak ngantuk..die tak bole kalo xde org kat sebelah die...die akan melalak...so bile kite gi kat die, die akan diam and siap senyum2 lg..kesudahannya...x sempat nak buat keje2 lain ehehehh..papepon weekend la waktu yg paling best for both of us sbb mase ni la nak spend masa ngan Faris...

Kalo weekdays, rutin kami keluar subuh balik maghrib...amik Faris pon dah nak Isyak...tup tap dah masuk hari baru..so rase mcm kejap je nak main ngan Faris...tp benda2 mcm ni bile diharungi tanpa disedari...dpt rasekan cepat je Faris membesar...satgi dah bole pandai meniarap..dah bole pandai jalan...dsb...

x sabar nak bwk die maen playground depan umah....

Looong Hollls

Salam buat semua,

lama jugak cuti kali nih..papa n mama faris pon full swing jugak..siap papa amik extra lagi nakservis kete la apela.t.sume ni psl sume org cuti lama sgt..nak gi bank, servis kete, ape ape yg konfem kene beratur panjang kalo ari biase, akan bertambah2 pjgla esp arini ni kamis.Owh..papafaris skang ni bersiaran live from Proton Edar (pusat servis la apalg), while waiting for my car to be serviced, papa try2 la connect kat available wireless, papp connect skali terdapat lak...kalo canih tunggu kete siap ptg pon papa xdehal..internet ade...x la sunyi...

fUHH.Wht a very long intro la papa.Ok2, we are now back, after the long hols..to narrate wht how did we spend our hols, nothing was so interesting, but at least we got some important milestone dates to put in history...

1. At least for three (3) consecutive days, faris, mama n I went for window shopping at at least three diff shopping avenues - thanks for the patrons of Subang Parade (day 1), The Curve & Ikano (day 2) and IKEA (day 3), for your kind support (i mean to give ways when papa was in his enjoyable mood pushing faris' brand new stroller.

talking about the stroller, there was another diff story. When we were cruising on our national brand car heading towards our day 2's venues, we heard a sudden "bang" coming from the rear of the car. After 50-50 suspecting the bang came from the car's broken tyre(s), me at a glance thinking of faris' made-in- Aus stroller (papa bought it when i was studying few years back), getting suspicious about what went wrong. And my gut feeling was correct, when i anguishly saw 2 out of three wheels were wildly burst.

But that wasnt the end of our even-havent-started journey. We caught our own attention browsing thru several alternatives how possible to carry faris away without arm-holding (nak dukung bole, tp faris dh berat, pengsan papa la nnt).We called our relatives who'd been to the Curve, asking the availability of stroller service as what we've experienced in Alamanda (so far i believe there is the one and only shopping complex to offer such service). After none such service was found, we started to dream if could we can have a brand new. Still remembering Mak Pah's (mamafaris' auntie) offer to buy one for Faris, so we thought of asking her first if the offer is still valid eheheheh...(ofkos la valid, it was just because this thing happened and we were desperately looking for replacement).

In short, we managed to buy another new stroller for Faris, and this time the brand is Bebe Confort Loola.Sounds great, and u'll find it even greater when u knoe the price.Thanks to Mak Pah and Uncle Munir, who have sponsored this lavish stroller for Faris.Got a big hikmah actually when the tyres burst where Faris quickly got his replacement.Poor but at the same time lucky baby boy!Alhamdulillah...rezeki anak...

Well...actually while im blogging here, i'm waiting for my car.Promised earlier the Proton Man (dunno wht designation shud i give him ehehe) to replace my absorber foc.And i've been suspecting somethin fishy would be on place, and suddenly it's found to be true. He made me angry just in few minutes away when evryone's looking at us, to see papafaris comes with its belang tarung.

"Mana janji aritu kate lain tp arini kate lain..."

Some parts of the conversation shudnt be stated here for reasons. Well, lessons learnt today, (as a conclusion of my longy holiday), u can be friend to all, but only trust some.Coz the other 'some' isnt going to woo you at all times.Believe me...

Faris is now 2 months old!

Gaya seorang 2 bulan..

It's stated there on the calendar, our dear Faris is now 2 mths old.Alhamdulillah, it's like u were born a moment ago, but now here you are a 2mths baby. For those who still dont know Faris' birthday, it's on 23rd of February 2007.

Faris, emm..being a 2mnths cutie pie of the family, is now able to at least to "speak" these words..."akhe"..or.."hoo" when papa talks to him. It comes sometimes with half-smiley face, showing his papa that he's not a notty boy (at least for the moment).

Ahahah..got to tell you this. Papa got a suprise gift from Faris today, guess what, while firmly holding faris and in the mean of transfering him to mama...it seemed papa was expecting new word(s) from Faris, but papa get was an unwitting fresh milk vomit of faris spitted on papa's face.......

Poor papa, and the notty mama laughed papa without mercy.

But at least papa got such a nice 2mths birthday present from the birthday boy.What comes next?...:)....
